About the Darryl Strawberry Foundation

The Darryl Strawberry Foundation was founded in 2006 by Darryl and Tracy Strawberry to bring global awareness to autism and other developmental disorders. Although Darryl and Tracy do not have children with autism, their experiences with these precious individuals and their families would change their lives forever.

THE DARRYL STRAWBERRY FOUNDATION MISSION STATEMENT
"ACTION FOR AUTISM" Our Mission is two-fold here at The Darryl Strawberry Foundation:
~To bring awareness and to meet the need~

To bring global awareness to autism and other developmental disorders, the affects that it has on the individuals and families involved, and to the severe lack of funding and resources that are desperately needed for the families and for this cause.

To raise funds to create and establish the programs and facilities that meet the current needs of the individuals and families affected by autism and other developmental disorders: 1. Adult day programs
2. Adult residential facilities
3. Schools for the children and young adults
4. After school programs
5. Daycare facilities for the children
6. Resource centers for the families to receive the information and help they need to establish benefits and services for their loved ones
We believe that every life is precious! We are committed to each individual receiving the quality of life that they so desperately need and so truly deserve!

A parent should not have to fight for the basics needs of their child to be met!
Contributing to the need while waiting for the cure!
